The Ohio Council of Teachers of English and NCTE work to improve the teaching and learning of English language arts directly in your community. When you join your local OCTELA affiliate or an NCTE student affiliate, you'll have access to local professional development opportunities, listservs, newsletters and, most importantly, the collected wisdom of many of the best teachers in the field. OCTELA's primary affiliate is the Western Reserve of Ohio Teachers of English (WROTE).
